Maybe you have the diagnosis. Maybe you just recognize yourself in it. Either way, it explains so much: the forgotten plans, the conversations that blew up out of nowhere, the way you can feel like the most devoted person in the room and the most exhausting one in the same week.
But knowing why doesn’t automatically change what happens at home.
In this 75-minute live workshop, we’ll look at what ADHD actually does inside a relationship, and what to do about it:
The paradox of you: why you can be deeply attentive and distracted, intensely loving and overwhelmed, and why both are true
The dynamics that show up again and again: the parent–child trap, the shutdown after a hard conversation, the “I’m too much / I’m not enough” loop
Communication that works with your brain instead of against it
Boundaries: why ADHD makes them so hard to set and hold, and where to start
A frank, gentle word about intimacy and touch, because ADHD shows up there too
You’ll do short, private reflection exercises during the session (nothing you’re asked to share out loud) and leave with my Boundaries packet.
Partners are welcome, at no extra cost. Partners often only see the behavior, and this is a chance for them to understand what’s underneath it. You’re also welcome to come alone. Single, partnered, or somewhere in between, this is about how you love, and that goes with you into every relationship.
I've worked with adults and couples — I've seen ADHD at every stage of life, and how it impacts relationships with communication, juggling life and task management, and intimacy.

This workshop is educational and is not therapy or couples counseling. I’m Patricia O’Laughlin, with twenty-five years of clinical experience, 18 as an LMFT, specializing in ADHD. I’ll share what I know, but we won’t be working on individual relationships in the room.
You can cancel for a full refund up to 7 days before the workshop (by Wednesday, November 11). After that, your payment becomes a credit toward a future workshop.
Love, Unmasked is a single evening. Gathered is my separate six-week coaching program for women with ADHD, diagnosed or not. Join the newsletter to hear when the next cohort opens.
